Libertarians were divided in their response to Ron DeSantis flying 48 undocumented immigrants to the liberal “sanctuary city.”
Those opposed:
Reminder, immigrants and immigration are great. Not just cause it means more labor but also more consumers, entrepreneurs, and a richer tapestry of people to form bonds and community with. Free people, goods, services, capital and travel. #Libertarian

No one who supports this gets to call themselves pro-life. Just gross. https://t.co/YEOuk7E1Vb

Those in favor:
This is AMAZING!

“Te amo!” They yelled while shipping the illegal immigrants off Martha’s Vineyard within 44 hours.

The Martha’s Vineyard thing might be the best and clearest example of what so many of us have been talking about for years. The progressive elites advocate for policies that they never have to suffer the consequences of. And the one time they do, it ends quickly.

Neutral takes:
There was no compassion shown in Martha’s Vineyard by the left or right. It did, however, show the irony of the progressive elites as they spent more time celebrating their generosity than they did tolerating their new neighbors. #MarthasVineyard

For me, it really matters whether the immigrants were misled to lied to while being transported to blue states/areas.

If it was all voluntary and informed/consensual, I have no problem with it whatsoever.
If not, I do.
Update: DeSantis may be facing legal trouble in TX and MA for the event, as reported by NPR and USA Today.
