There was a time when you could have been banned from a social media platform for denying that Pfizer’s shots prevented the spread of Covid.

Anthony Fauci, you may recall, said that once you’ve had the shots you become a “dead end” for Covid.

Well, now we have the truth from the horse’s mouth. In an exchange days ago before the European Parliament, Pfizer executive Janine Small made clear that the company never even tested to see if its product prevented transmission.

Strange, isn’t it? All your friends knew it prevented transmission! They made sure to let you know how crazy you were for disagreeing. All the respectable people on TV knew!

But how could they, if the company that developed the shots itself did not know?

Meanwhile, we just got this statement from the new premier of Alberta, Canada, Danielle Smith. Now before you tell me Danielle Smith isn’t a very good conservative or libertarian, rest assured that I’m aware of that. But that makes her statement all the more significant — even someone who is very sensitive about public opinion feels at liberty to say something like this:

The community that faced the most restrictions on their freedoms in the last year were those who made a choice not to be vaccinated. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced a situation in my lifetime where a person was fired from their job or not allowed to watch their kids play hockey or not allowed to go visit a loved one in long term care or hospital are not allowed to go get on a plane to either go across the country to see family or even travel across the border. So they have been the most discriminated against group that I’ve ever witnessed in my lifetime. That’s a pretty extreme level of discrimination that we have seen. I don’t take away any of the discrimination that I’ve seen in those other groups that you mentioned, but this has been an extraordinary time in the last year in particular. And I want people to know that I find that unacceptable. We are not going to create a segregated society on the basis of a of a medical choice.

I know how easy it can be to get discouraged, especially when the other side seems so powerful and well organized. But we cannot forget: we defeated these “vaccine passport” systems. You know the so-called public health establishment and its hapless followers wanted those systems to be permanent. But enough of us refused to comply that they had to dismantle them.

Do not forget that, when you’re inclined to be discouraged. There are more of us than these awful regimes realized.
